Raptor Watching at The Met Cloisters & Fort Tryon Park

The site of The Met Cloisters, overlooking the Palisades, is an ideal place to witness the fall migration of songbirds and birds of prey. Inspired by the raptors and winged creatures depicted in artworks at The Met Cloisters and in the exhibition Creatures of Myth and Imagination: Europe and the Americas.

Join naturalist Gabriel Willow on a birding tour through scenic viewpoints within the Museum and through Fort Tryon Park.

Fee: $40. Please note: Space is limited; advance registration is required. Registration closes Thursday, October 8, 2026 or when registration is full.
